Hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 7:00 am – 10:00 am & 3:00 pm – 7:30 pm with occasional support on Saturdays & evening babysitting. Could also offer 3:00 pm – 7:30 pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays if candidate wants more hours

Salary: £18 - £19 gross per hour on weekdays & £19 gross per hour at weekends

Description

A Support Worker is required for a family in Burghclere, Hampshire (RG20) with 3 children, twins aged 12 years & 13 year old.  The position is assisting with the 13 year old daughter who has mild cerebral palsy.

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £18 – £19 gross per hour on weekdays & £19 gross per hour at weekends

Hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 7:00 am – 10:00 am & 3:00 pm – 7:30 pm with occasional support on Saturdays & evening babysitting. Could also offer 3:00 pm – 7:30 pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays if candidate wants more hours.

Duties:

• Helping daughter get ready for school & give breakfast, get ready for bed & personal care
• Taking twins to school/collect from school
• Putting uniforms out
• Helping with homework & giving dinner
• Helping with afterschool activities – crafts/afterschool clubs
• Light housekeeping
• Cooking for the children & batch cooking for the freezer
• General administration – managing the diary/rota etc

You must:

• Have previous experience as a Support Worker with checkable references to support your application
• Have an Enhanced DBS certificate or be happy to have one done
• Be an enabler to help with independence
• Be a driver with own car
• Be able to cook & follow recipes
• Like pets
• Have a good level of English
